Terms of Use

FestivalFriends · Last updated 18 June 2026

By creating an account or using FestivalFriends, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app. Questions: contacts@sweetch.dev.

The service

FestivalFriends helps you see where your crew is at a festival. It is not a safety or emergency service: location can be delayed, approximate, or unavailable, so don’t rely on it where someone’s safety depends on it. You must be at least 16 to use the app.

Your account

Keep your login credentials secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account anytime in Settings.

Acceptable use — zero tolerance

FestivalFriends has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post, share, or transmit content — including usernames, crew names, photos, or messages — that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or that impersonates others or invades others’ privacy, and not to use the app to stalk, harm, or harass anyone.

Moderation, reporting & blocking

You can report a user (long-press them in your crew list → Report) and block a user (long-press → Block; manage in Settings → Blocked users). We review reports and may remove content and suspend or permanently ban users who violate these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

Festivals & third-party trademarks

FestivalFriends is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any festival, venue, or its organizers. Festival names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the event you’re attending. Any festival information in the app — names, map zones, stages, or schedules — is provided on a best-effort basis “as is”, and we do not guarantee it is accurate, complete, or up to date. Always rely on the official festival’s information for anything important.

Disclaimers & liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee location accuracy or availability, and we’re not responsible for interactions or meetups between users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Apple App Store

These Terms are between you and FestivalFriends only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes

We may update these Terms; we’ll revise the date above when we do.
